We have received your personal data either from yourself, your company or your employees and/or organs, from public sources such as commercial register, your website, telephone directory etc. or from third parties who have a right to transfer data to us (e.g. other group companies.).

 

2. Categories of Personal Data

As part of the business relationship with you, your following personal data will be stored or processed by Paustian airtex GmbH:

Gender, name, academic tile, function within your company, phone number, mobile number, fax number, E-mail address, language, business address.

Purposes and Legal Basis

We process your personal data only as far as they are voluntarily provided by you, you have consented to this or we are otherwise authorized by law. Your personal data will be processed by Paustian airtex GmbH for the following purposes and based on the following legal basis:

Processing based on your given consent to the processing of your personal data (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR)

Processing to fulfill pre-contractual and contractual obligations (Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR)

3. Website provision and creation of log files

Description and scope of data processing

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the computer used to access the website.

The following data is collected:

Information about the type of browser and the version used

The user’s operating system

The user’s Internet service provider

The user’s IP address

Time and date the website was accessed

Websites from which the user’s system accesses our website

Websites accessed by the user’s system through our website

The data is also stored in our system’s log files. This data is not stored with other personal data pertaining to the user.

 

Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6 Para. 1 letter A GDPR.

Purpose of data processing

It is necessary for the system to store the IP address temporarily in order to allow the website to be displayed on the user’s computer. The user’s IP address must be stored for the duration of the session in this respect.

Data is stored in log files to ensure that the website works properly. The data is also used to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our IT systems. The data is not analysed for marketing purposes in this context.

These purposes also demonstrate our legitimate interest in data processing in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f GDPR.

Duration of data retention

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Where data is collected in order to provide the website, it will be deleted when the respective session has ended.

If data is stored in log files, it will be deleted after fourteen days at the latest. It is possible that data may be stored beyond this period. In this instance, the user’s IP addresses will be deleted or distorted so that they cannot be assigned to the client who accessed the website.

Option to object and request disposal

The acquisition of data to provide the website and the storage of data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of our website. As a result, the user does not have the option to object.

 

4. Contact form and contact via E-Mail

Description and scope of data processing

It is possible to contact us via the E-Mail addresses provided on our website. In this instance, the user’s personal data transmitted with the E-Mail will be stored.

Data will not be shared with third parties in this context. This data is used exclusively to process the conversation.

Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted in the course of sending an E-Mail is Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f GDPR. If the purpose of the E-Mail contact is to conclude a contract, then the additional legal basis for the processing is Art.6 Para.1 letter b GDPR.

Purpose of data processing

The personal data from E-Mails is processed exclusively to allow us to process the message. If contact is made by E-Mail, there is also a legitimate interest in processing the data, as is necessary.

Any other personal data processed during the sending process serves to prevent misuse and to ensure the security of our IT systems.

Duration of data retention

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. For personal data sent via E-Mail, this means when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is considered to have ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter has been conclusively resolved.

Any additional personal data that is collected during the sending process will be deleted after a period of seven days at the latest.

Option to object and request disposal

The user has the option to revoke their consent to the processing of their personal data at any time. If the user contacts us by E-Mail, they can object to the storage of their personal data at any time. In such cases, the conversation cannot be continued.

All personal data that was stored over the course of contact being made will be deleted in this instance.

 

5. Disclosure and Foreign Element

Our software systems are partly managed by external service providers with whom we have concluded the legally mandated data processing agreements.

As far as necessary for the fulfillment of contractual obligations, as transmission of your data to third parties may occur, such as the transmission of your name and address to commissioned transport or shipping companies for the delivery of ordered goods. These companies are required to comply with data protection.
